Slag Loading without transport (Secondary Sales) Ton 174,000 A. Loading of Slag from Source to Domestic purpose Following vehicles are required. Big Loader - 1 no SCOPE OF WORK: - Ø Shifting of Dry slag / Granulated slag from Corex site to slag storage yard <(>&<)> also shifting same which is fallen on the road. (Space given by Environment / security). Ø Shifting of Metal skull. Ø Shifting of Dry slag / Granulated slag must be done on daily basis. Ø For preventive Maintenance or Breakdown of any equipment, replacement of the same to be provided <(>&<)> vendor will inform to Corex oprn.24 Hrs. before. Ø DRY <(>&<)> GRANULATED SLAG MANAGEMENT OF COREX AREA as per instruction of Area In charge. Ø Granulated slag shifting from SGP to designated dumping yard. Average of 1700–1800 MT/Day. Ø Re-arranging and heaping of slag at COREX site area. Ø Heaping of received slag to make way for incoming slag at dumping yard, Ø Cleaning of spillage slag during transit on road. Ø Cleaning of carry over (granulated) slag from SGP clarifier ponds. Ø Dry pit cleaning and dry slag shifting to the designated dumping yard (Day <(>&<)> Night) depending upon the situation. Average of 70 MT/day. Max of 1000 MT/day. Ø Cleaning of Hot Metal and slag from dry pits during emergency and shifting of dry pit metal skull to the designated dumping yard. Ø Contractor shall carryout the subject work as per the requirement and instructions by our user dept. Ø Cleaning of Settling Pond <(>&<)> Clarifier Pond. Ø Dumping Chute Cleaning in all dry pit. Ø Mixing of sand with Slag as when required. Ø If any emergency situation at cast house and Zero-meter equipment to be provide. Ø Loading <(>&<)> Shifting of Slag: Bill quantity certified as per TCG. If once weighting system started Billing will proceed as per actual weighment. Ø Loading of Slag: Bill quantity certified as per Secondary Seles weighments. A) JOB INCLUDES: Ø Removal, loading transportation of granulated slag and dry pit slag to specified yard, heaping of received slag to make way for incoming slag, cleaning of spillage slag. Ø The lead between loading and unloading point for granulated slag shall be approx. Kms at (Both ways). Ø You shall ensure that generation point slag hill is always kept at minimum height and in no cases touches the slag chute. Ø The carryover granulated slag generated from ponds has to be shifted to dumping yard. Due to UN avoidable circumstances sometimes, metal will be dumped into the dry pits. During the time material shall be unloaded at specified yard as per instructions of user dept. Ø Handling of equipment ‘s such as chain mounted pay loaders, dumpers, excavators, all tools and tackles, labors and supervision etc., shall be in your scope. You shall deploy sufficient equipment’s for the above operation activities. Ø Replacement of any man and machinery should be allowed only after prior intimation to the concerned department personals. Ø Fuel, accessories, spares, consumables, and maintenance of your fleet shall be in your scope. Ø Storage for keeping spares, consumables shall be in your scope. You are advised to store all critical spares/consumables to ensure continuous availability of your equipment’s. Ø You shall ensure that there should not be any spillage during transit and if any spillage takes place on road the same shall be cleaned by you on the day-to-day basis. Otherwise, suitable penalty will be imposed on you. Ø In case your services are found unsatisfactory or unacceptable, or on your failure to complete the assignments within the time stipulated by user dept. Company reserves the right to deduct the suitable amount as penalty as deemed reasonable from the amount payable to you in addition to the revocation of the contract without notice as its discretion. Ø During any emergency conditions company reserves the right to deploy additional equipment’s to take care of subject job. However, penalty shall also be levied as per actual expenses claimed by other supplier +25% extra’ as penalty, in case of non-availability of equipment and also non completion of work in a stipulated time. Ø You shall provide equipment’s to the user dept. on 24 hours availability basis with operators. Replacement of breakdown equipment’s shall be done without affecting the scope of works. Otherwise, suitable penalty will be imposed on you. Ø Cleaning of dry slag from the pits must be done within the stipulated time during every diversion by suitable equipment like chain mounted loader and excavator as per instructions and requirements by COREX department. Otherwise, suitable penalty will be imposed on you. B) SAFETY: Ø The driver should put the safety belt while driving the vehicles. Ø Your vehicle should have reverse horn. Ø Your drivers shall maintain the vehicle speed limit as per company rules. Ø In case your persons are engaged in working in hot zone area, you should provide them with heat resistance suits. - Approved jeans jacket, cotton shirt and cotton underwear <(>&<)> cotton socks. Ø You shall deploy adequately trained and experienced personnel’s and equipment’s for ensuring smooth operation on round the clock. Ø You shall engage the vehicles (with valid RTO documents) with drivers having valid driving license. The driver and cleaner should be deployed in such a manner to ensure availability of resources whenever required and each person employed does not have more than 8 hours working duration. Ø You shall take necessary safety precautions while loading <(>&<)> shifting the materials as required by user dept. Ø The tyres of vehicles should not be bald. Ø The vehicle name plate, lighting systems including side blinkers shall be maintained without fail. Ø Being the restricted area due to hot handling conditions, you shall not load other than your vehicles at the loading point. If found any, you will be penalized heavily C) WEIGHT ASSESSMENT: Ø Loading <(>&<)> Shifting of Slag The weight required for the billing purpose shall be technically assessed and cross verified by our Corex department, based on the slag production report generated by our technical control group from the raw material charged to the furnace. If once weighting system started Billing will proceed as per actual weighment. Ø Loading of Slag: Bill quantity certified as per Secondary Seles weighments. Ø D) TOTAL EQUIPMENTS: Ø 1. 2 Nos. Ø Vendors to ensure safe transportation of their associates from their place of residence to respective work location in the plant and back. The movement of persons inside the plant by foot/bicycle/two wheelers is prohibited. Other Terms: Associate must undergo Medical Fitness at our Care Nursing Home, AM/NS Township, Hazira. This would be done as per AM/NS India standards and the cost shall be borne by the vendor.
