Vendor shall make appropriate arrangement of any structural erections by conventional methods, by using chain blocks, manual lif ting, using scaffolding etc in case work is not accessible by Cranes ,Manlifter etc. . Base Plate (100 x 100 x 3 mm) is mandatory for every vertical pipe while making a scaffolding. Sole Plate shall also be used at all unpaved area to support base plate. 4. A Scaffolding platform will only be considered as fully safe after provision of all the minimum mandatory requirements/supports. 5. Provision of Access ladder, Top <(>&<)> Mid Hand railing, Toe Board and Tagging system is mandatory for each <(>&<)> every Scaffolding structure. 6. Appropriate barricades shall be installed to protect people in the vicinity during scaffold erection, use, modification, and dismantling. As far as practicable, barricades shall be provided by keeping a clear distance of 1.0 meter from scaffold structure. 7. Fall protection when erecting, dismantling, and modifying scaffolds shall be under the direction of a competent person (Scaffold Supervisor/Inspector). 8. Scaffolds shall be designed to support at least 4 times of the anticipated weight of Men/material. 9. Scaffold shall be constructed at least 2 planks wide (Minimum) at all the sides. Only Anti-skid type Planks are allowed to be used for Scaffolding structure. 10. During the erection stage of a scaffold, warning notices with the wording Scaffold incomplete, Don Not Use shall be fixed to all the scaffold access points. 11. The status board with the wording Scaffold Complete, Safe for Use shall be displayed when the scaffold is ready to use. 12. Once erected the Scaffolding shall be inspected Every week and recorded. Scaffold after due date of inspections shall not be permitted for use without Re-inspection by the Scaffolding Inspector. 13. Both Erection <(>&<)> Removal of Scaffold shall be done through Permit-To-Work. 14. Person who uses scaffold shall be trained. He shall know the safe work practices to be performed, able to assess the hazards and can take proper protective measures. 15. Any Non-standard or Damaged material shall not be used on the scaffold. Those materials shall immediately declare as scrap. 16. All the material used shall be up to the AMNS standard and shall only be used as per its designed/designated place. Any alteration shall be approved from a competent person before implying it on ground. 17. Toe board shall be fixed at the platform to restrict fall of materials/person. 18. All the Height Workers’ Medical Fitness Certificate along with Reports shall be submitted to us. After successfully completion of Competency assessment, a copy of their Induction Card <(>&<)> Height Pass shall also be submitted without any delay. Prior to start any scaffolding related activity, it is mandatory to submit scaffold materials Quantity and TPI along with Safe Work Method for the same. it will help in smooth monitoring and accountability of scaffold material. 2. AMNS will consider only certified scaffold inspector after verifying his certificate, training, and knowledge. So, deploy a Scaffolding inspector with valid certification and adequate knowledge. 3. Base Plate (100 x 100 x 3 mm) is mandatory for every vertical pipe while making a scaffolding. Sole Plate shall also be used at all unpaved area to support base plate. 4. A Scaffolding platform will only be considered as fully safe after provision of all the minimum mandatory requirements/supports. 5. Provision of Access ladder, Top <(>&<)> Mid Hand railing, Toe Board and Tagging system is mandatory for each <(>&<)> every Scaffolding structure. 6. Appropriate barricades shall be installed to protect people in the vicinity during scaffold erection, use, modification, and dismantling. As far as practicable, barricades shall be provided by keeping a clear distance of 1.0 meter from scaffold structure. 7. Fall protection when erecting, dismantling, and modifying scaffolds shall be under the direction of a competent person (Scaffold Supervisor/Inspector). 8. Scaffolds shall be designed to support at least 4 times of the anticipated weight of Men/material. 9. Scaffold shall be constructed at least 2 planks wide (Minimum) at all the sides. Only Anti-skid type Planks are allowed to be used for Scaffolding structure. 10. During the erection stage of a scaffold, warning notices with the wording Scaffold incomplete, Don Not Use shall be fixed to all the scaffold access points. 11. The status board with the wording Scaffold Complete, Safe for Use shall be displayed when the scaffold is ready to use. 12. Once erected the Scaffolding shall be inspected Every week and recorded. Those materials shall immediately declare as scrap. 16. All the material used shall be up to the AMNS standard and shall only be used as per its designed/designated place.
