Tender For Replacement Of Gi Sheet Installed At Gail Hazira.; 1 REPLACEMENT OF GI SHEET 2 Dismantling roofingThis line item includes dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc., of G.I. Sheet and stacking the material at a designated place within GAIL Hazira Compressor Station and as per direction of EIC. Removing the current GI sheets that are attached to the units roofs, cladding, etc. at the GAIL Hazira Compressor Station and stacking the materials there in accordance with the EICs instructions. Every fitting, including electrical wires, roof exhaust fan and earthing strips, that is attached to the G.I sheet needs to be taken out and requires to install after complete installation of G.I sheets shall be in bidders scope. No additional funds will be released for performing this task; the cost of removing these fittings will be covered by SOR line item 1. The maximum height at which G.I sheets needs to be replaced is 15 meters (GREP shed) and 10 meters for other locations, bidder require to consider mentioned height before quoting. All materials (which is removed) manpower, tools and tackles, consumables and equipment’s like hydra, tractor in all respects including scaffolding materials; if required for safety of personnel shall be in the scope of supply of contractor and the quoted rates shall be inclusive of all necessary input to complete the job. Scaffolding of appropriate specifications as per OISD 192 and IS 3696 shall be used. Prior to using the materials, contractor shall get the approval from the EIC or his authorize representative. Loading/unloading and shifting of all materials shall be in the scope of contractor. Refer SCC, SOW for detail. 3 Supply and Installation of GI SheetSupply and Installation of GI Sheet (Roof, Cladding, Vertical Cladding, Gabble etc.))This line item consists of providing and fixing precoated galvanized iron profile sheets of approved brand (TATA, Jindal) (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length up to 12 meter or as desired by Engineer-in- charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self-drilling /self-tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.The maximum height at which G.I sheets needs to be replaced is 15 meters (GREP shed) and 10 meters for other locations, bidder require to consider mentioned height before quoting.This line item will include all necessary materials (GI Sheets, manpower, tools and tackles, consumables and equipment’s like hydra, tractor in all respects including scaffolding materials; if required for safety of personnel shall be in the scope of supply of contractor and the quoted rates shall be inclusive of all necessary input to complete the job. The installed sheet shall be checked for water leakages by pouring water on the roofs and cladding of structures.All materials, tools, tackles, equipment, scaffolding etc. required to carry out any required job considering all necessary safety shall be supplied by contractor at his cost unless otherwise stated.Contractor has to produce all the necessary tools, equipment’s (ladder, safety belts etc.), machines etc. to execute the job which is deemed to be included in quoted rates. Sufficient stock of materials to be kept at site after approval of samples from Engineer-In-Charge.The contractor shall provide all the safety equipment’s and PPE’s at his own cost to the worker deploy for the subject work.
