Exact date will be intimated 10-15 days before capital shutdown.During capital shutdown, Various refractory jobs are to be carried at tunnel furnace .These jobs include Side wall casting at bottom level, Pyro block fixing at top level of side wall, furnace window roll seal preparation, Furnace window roll seal removal <(>&<)> fixing, roof packing, Flue duct repairing, Scale clean out gate, Flue duct, stack refractory repairing etc. is to be done. Job description is as below: - 1. Removal <(>&<)> fixing of, Roll guard ring, Roll seal inner <(>&<)> outer plate. 1.1. Refractory blanket lining of Inner <(>&<)> outer roll seal plate. The job includes shifting of Refractory blanket, cutting of blanket, anchor welding <(>&<)> preparation of roll seals. 1.2. Fixing of new inner <(>&<)> outer roll seal <(>&<)> Roll guard ring where side wall refractory lining has been done. 1.3 Removal of Side wall bumper and fixing of new bumper wherever found worn out. 2. Carrying out dismantling <(>&<)> application of refractory lining at side wall, down take, Flue gas duct and stacks. 2.1. The job includes Pyrobloc <(>&<)> Castable removal, area cleaning, anchor welding, Ceramic anchor fixing, Ceramic board fixing, shuttering, Casting, Ceramic Pyro Block anchor welding, back- up fixing <(>&<)> Pyrobloc lining at Tunnel Furnace 3. Roof packing 3.1. The job includes shifting <(>&<)> cutting of ceramic blanket in desired width <(>&<)> length. 3.2. Packing at side wall on roof sheeting. 3.3. Gap filling by ceramic blanket pieces after roof placement. 3.4. Area Housekeeping after job completion is to be done properly. • Vendor must ensure availability of sufficient buses/vehicles to ply their associates inside plant premises. Vendors to ensure safe transportation of their associates from their place of residence to respective work location in the plant and back. The movement of persons inside the plant by foot/bicycle/two wheelers is prohibited. • Associate has to undergo Medical Fitness at our Care Nursing Home, AM/NS Township, Hazira. This would be done as per AM/NS India standards and the cost shall be borne by the vendor. Workers Lodging boarding, transportation, safety appliances and other necessary amenities will be in contractor scope. • No Pedestrian/Cycles/Two Wheelers movement will be allowed inside the Plant Premises.
